HYBE names new girl group TUIDE, set to debut under its ABD label this year
HYBE has unveiled the name of its next K-pop girl group, TUIDE, which is set to debut in the second half of 2026 under ABD, a new label the company created specifically for girl-group production. The launch is notable both for reviving HYBE's girl-group pipeline and for its unconventional approach, ditching the survival-show format used for previous acts in favour of a producer-led rollout introducing members through brand films.
TUIDE will be produced by Han Sung Soo, founder of PLEDIS Entertainment and the figure behind SEVENTEEN, TWS and IZ*ONE, with ABD led by Jiwon No, a former PLEDIS Head of Artist Planning. The move follows strong results from HYBE's existing female acts, including LE SSERAFIM's chart-topping 2025 EP and KATSEYE surpassing 32 million monthly Spotify listeners, and comes as the company expands its girl-group search internationally, including auditions in India and a second group in Japan.
