The 31st Busan International Film Festival has released the schedule for three of its audience-facing programmes — Open Talk, Outdoor Stage Greeting and Talk-to-Talk — which allow festival-goers to meet directors and cast members from a broad slate of Korean and international films. The sessions, held at the Busan Cinema Center Roof Theater and the HANMAC Smooooth Lounge, run from 7 to 13 October and feature a roster of major names, underlining Busan's role as a key showcase for Asian and world cinema.

Open Talk begins on 7 October with director Lee Chang-dong and stars including Jeon Do-yeon and Sul Kyung-gu presenting "Possible Love," and closes on 13 October with Isabelle Huppert and director Marc Fitoussi discussing "All About Corinne." The Outdoor Stage Greeting programme runs from 7 to 11 October and covers dozens of titles, with high-profile appearances including Hyun Bin, Jung Woo-sung and Woo Do-hwan for "Made In Korea" Season 2, Lee Min-ho for "The Assassin(s)," and directors such as Kore-eda Hirokazu, Yeon Sang-ho and Kamila Andini presenting their latest work alongside international casts from Japan, Taiwan, Indonesia, Thailand and Italy.
