The game follows George, an elderly puffin establishing a records shop, who experiences colourful fantasy platforming sequences as he listens to new vinyl before selling it. During these sequences, all actions—jumps, slides, and throws—must synchronise with the beat. The next day, he assists customers in finding records based on their descriptions. The original soundtrack spans diverse genres including psychedelic pop, classic rock, and R&B-inspired rap, with visuals matching each song's aesthetic. However, the shop management aspect remains underdeveloped in the demo, with only two records available at opening and limited daily additions, though relationship-building with repeat customers appears to be an important emerging mechanic.
