‘I think you’ve had enough now’: Teenage girl reveals disturbing words of Nigerian migrant who raped her in the woods before dodging deportation over ‘human rights’

Daily Mail · 36 minutes ago

A 19-year-old woman has described being dragged into woodland and raped by Gift Oladele, a 24-year-old Nigerian migrant, as she walked home along an isolated footpath in Wrexham, Wales, after a night out in September 2025. Oladele, who had previously fought off deportation to Nigeria on human rights grounds and was already on bail over a separate rape allegation in Manchester at the time of the attack, was convicted of rape and sexual assault following a trial at Mold Crown Court in March.

The victim, now 20, said Oladele offered to walk her home before grabbing her by the mouth, forcing her into the woods and violently assaulting her, telling her afterwards "I think you've had enough now." She reported the attack to her parents within hours and police arrested Oladele the following day, finding phone searches related to sexual attacks. He had a prior 2022 conviction for falsely imprisoning a woman in Manchester. At Caernarfon Crown Court on 30 April, he was sentenced to a total of 25 years, comprising 17 years in prison plus an eight-year extended licence period.
