I Tried Amazon’s New Kindles. Buy This Accessory Instead (2026)

Amazon’s Kindle Click is a Bluetooth remote for turning pages, scrolling and adjusting brightness on compatible Kindle e-readers. The reviewer recommends it as a useful, relatively affordable accessory, particularly for readers who find it uncomfortable to hold a Kindle or tap the screen repeatedly.

The lightweight device has four buttons, charges via USB-C and includes a wrist strap; Amazon says its battery lasts for weeks. It works with Kindle models from 2024 onwards, and avoids the screen-blocking clips and separate components common in third-party page turners. The article contrasts it with an $80 page-turn cover that requires a newer Signature Edition Kindle costing at least $250.
