British rock quintet A has released their first album in over two decades following a 21-year absence from recording. The Suffolk-based group, previously achieving chart success with 2002's Hi-Fi Serious before being dropped by their label three years later, now returns with Prang, reuniting core members Jason Perry on vocals, his brothers Adam (drums) and Giles (keyboards), guitarist Mark Chapman, and new bassist Richard Trigg.

The album was created through a notably efficient and DIY recording process, with the band completing entire songs in just two hours before rapidly developing additional material. Lead single 'Hello Sunshine' showcases Chapman's distortion-driven guitar work paired with Perry's distinctive high-pitched vocals, demonstrating the group's continued embrace of their 1990s British rock and alternative influences that defined their earlier work.
