A new documentary about the late RUSH drummer Neil Peart, titled "Neil Peart: No One's Disciple", will premiere on Canada's CBC network on 23 September 2026. The film traces Peart's difficult early career and subsequent rise to fame, featuring interviews with RUSH bandmates Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson as well as tributes from other renowned drummers, and includes new live performances of RUSH classics with guest drummers filling Peart's seat.

Peart died on 7 January 2020 in Santa Monica, California, aged 67, following a three-year battle with glioblastoma, an aggressive brain cancer, a diagnosis he had chosen to keep private. Guest drummers featured in the documentary's live segments include Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Stewart Copeland (The Police) and Danny Carey (Tool). The news comes as Lee and Lifeson continue RUSH's "Fifty Something" tour with new members Anika Nilles and Loren Gold, a run of shows across Canada, the US and Mexico that sold out rapidly and has since been extended twice due to demand.
