Illinois basketball players have priceless reaction after learning Caitlin Clark was at their game

No. 3 Illinois beat Penn 112-70, but two Illinois players had a memorable surprise after the game: they learnt that WNBA star Caitlin Clark had watched from the stands. The moment matters because it shows the attention Clark attracts even when she is not playing.

Guard Quentin Coleman reacted with disbelief and said he wanted to tell his sister, while forward Zavier Zens said he had not known Clark was there. Zens scored 18 points, shooting 6-for-10 overall and 4-for-8 from three-point range. Clark was seated behind the bench with her boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, whose father Fran is Penn’s head coach.
