Imminence have announced their new album 'Axis Mundi', the follow-up to 2024's 'The Black', due for release on 2 October via Century Media Records. The announcement matters for fans as it confirms the band's next creative direction, building on the duality of light and darkness that guitarist Harald Barrett says defines their sound, alongside news of their biggest European headline tour to date.

The 11-track album includes previously released single 'The Sword That Never Bends', alongside two newly shared tracks, 'Crestfallen' and 'False Light', described by Barrett as embodying opposing musical and emotional extremes. The accompanying European tour begins on 8 January 2027 in Gothenburg and runs through cities including Manchester, London, Paris and Berlin, ending in Malmö on 6 February, with support from August Burns Red. Imminence were also named among Rock Sound's Stars of 2026.
