Global streaming platform DAZN is set to become the exclusive streaming home for New York's YES Network and MSG Networks, marking a significant shift in the region's sports broadcasting landscape. The two regional sports networks will move away from their existing joint streaming venture, the Gotham Sports App, with DAZN adding their linear feeds and on-demand content ahead of the 2026-27 NBA and NHL seasons. The deal reflects wider pressures on regional sports networks as cord-cutting erodes their traditional business model, pushing them towards new streaming partnerships.

YES Network carries New York Yankees games, while MSG Networks broadcasts the Knicks and Rangers; both also cover the NBA's Brooklyn Nets and NHL sides including the New Jersey Devils, New York Islanders and Buffalo Sabres. Existing pay-TV subscribers will be able to stream this content via DAZN at no extra cost, though the exact transition timing has not yet been confirmed. DAZN, backed by billionaire Len Blavatnik, has largely focused on boxing and football in the US to date, and executives from both DAZN and the two networks described the agreement as a major step in expanding streaming access for fans.
