In the Busiest Gaming Month of the Year, PS5’s Control Resonant Will Take Up a Lot of Your Time
Control: Resonant’s main campaign will take about 30 hours to complete, substantially longer than the original Control’s roughly 10-hour experience. The longer running time could make it harder for players to fit into September’s crowded release schedule, particularly as it launches alongside Silent Hill: Townfall.
Lead gameplay designer Sergey Mohov gave the estimate in an interview with TechRadar, adding that completionists should expect closer to 50 hours. Push Square says its earlier hands-on preview left it impressed by Remedy’s work, but notes that players may need to choose carefully among major PS5 releases including Marvel’s Wolverine and The Blood of Dawnwalker.
- Control: Resonant’s campaign is expected to last around 30 hours.
- Completionists may spend close to 50 hours.
