Inde Navarrette on Meeting Pamela Anderson, Hosting ‘SNL’ and X-Men Stunt Training
Inde Navarrette’s weekend took her from the Academy Museum Gala to the Newport Beach Film Festival, where she was recognised as one of Variety’s 10 Actors to Watch. She described meeting Jessica Lange and Pamela Anderson as a highlight and said she was honoured by the reception for her film “Obsession”.
Navarrette is also preparing to host the Halloween episode of “Saturday Night Live”, with Gracie Abrams as musical guest, and to play Rogue in the forthcoming Marvel “X-Men” film. She has not spoken directly with Anna Paquin, who previously played Rogue, but said her enthusiasm for the role began when she watched the “X-Men” films growing up.
