Independent Artist Group Signs ‘Love Hurts’ Director Jonathan Eusebio

Deadline · 3 hours ago

Jonathan Eusebio, the stunt coordinator and second unit director behind the recent Universal action comedy *Love Hurts*, has signed with talent agency Independent Artist Group. The move follows his feature directorial debut and reflects his growing profile as he transitions from behind-the-scenes action specialist to director, marking a significant career step in Hollywood's representation landscape.

*Love Hurts*, released in February, stars Academy Award winners Ke Huy Quan and Ariana DeBose and follows a Milwaukee realtor whose past as an assassin catches up with him. The film was produced by David Leitch and Kelly McCormick's 87North Productions. Before directing, Eusebio spent more than two decades shaping modern action filmmaking as a founding member of 87Eleven Action Design, with second unit credits on *Deadpool 2*, *Birds of Prey* and *Obi-Wan Kenobi*, and stunt or fight coordination work on films including *Black Panther*, *John Wick: Chapter 3 — Parabellum*, *The Fall Guy* and *The Matrix Resurrections*.
