HBO's finance drama "Industry" has confirmed seven new cast members for its fifth and final season: Cary Elwes, Dianna Agron, Sam Riley, Jessica Brown Findlay, Luke Manley, Bally Gill and Eduard Poliakov. The announcement cements previously reported news that the acclaimed series, created by Mickey Down and Konrad Kay, will conclude with this season, which is now filming in the UK as a Bad Wolf production for HBO and the BBC.

Elwes will play investor Padgett Stillman, Agron takes on wellness-tech CFO Skip Binksy, and Riley portrays Silicon Valley-made British businessman Solomon Kerr. Brown Findlay joins as Marina St. Clair, a family friend of Kit Harington's character, while Manley plays execution trader Stevie Delmonte, Gill plays left-wing politician Nikesh Shah, and Poliakov plays trader Olexij Kovalchuk. They join a returning ensemble led by Myha'la, Marisa Abela and Harington, alongside newcomer Zosia Mamet, rounding out the cast for the show's send-off.

Industry is a drama series about the world of high finance, following young bankers and traders as they navigate ambition, rivalry and morality inside a fictional London investment bank. Created by Mickey Down and Konrad Kay, it has drawn praise for its sharp depiction of workplace pressure and the finance industry, building a devoted following since it first aired. It is produced for HBO and the BBC by Bad Wolf, and its returning cast includes Myha'la, Marisa Abela and Kit Harington.

The show is now filming its fifth season in the UK, which has already been confirmed as its last. As with previous series, each new run tends to bring in fresh characters to sit alongside the established ensemble, reflecting the shifting cast of colleagues, rivals and clients that populate the finance world the show depicts.

This matters because a show's final season often shapes how its overall story and characters are remembered, and casting news gives an early sense of the new storylines and figures that will feature before the series concludes.
