Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah is nearing a return after injury, having not yet played for the club since joining in the summer. Manager Danny Röhl said the 29-year-old’s progress has been positive, but stressed that the club must manage his return carefully to avoid a setback.

Chalobah joined on a free transfer after leaving West Bromwich Albion and has been working through rehabilitation. He had resumed some training, including rondos, but had not yet joined full games; Röhl hoped he could return to action shortly after the international break, potentially in late November.
