Lift House, a co-living and working space in East London for six young founders, is positioning itself as an alternative to Silicon Valley’s intense hacker-house culture. Founded in March, the house is led by entrepreneur Rowan Aldean and his wife Zahraa, with stays ranging from one month to at least six months; residents share cleaning and often cook together, but would not disclose rents.
