Insurance startup Corgi reportedly raised more money at $4B — its third round in eight weeks
Corgi, an AI-powered insurance startup, has reportedly completed another extension to its Series B funding at a $4 billion valuation, only eight weeks after its previous round. If confirmed, the deal would underline both investors’ appetite for fast-growing AI companies and the unusually rapid pace of Corgi’s fundraising, while providing capital for its cash-intensive insurance operations and wider expansion.
The company raised $106 million at a $2.6 billion valuation in late May, following a $160 million Series B at $1.3 billion earlier that month and a $108 million Series A in January. Forbes did not disclose the latest amount and Corgi declined to comment, but sources said its annualised revenue run rate could reach $450 million by year-end, up from $40 million at the time of its Series A. Corgi sells business insurance using AI for quotes and claims, operates through structures including risk retention groups, and has also expanded into data-room software and branded coffee shops.
