Megan Park discusses her move from acting to writing and directing, following the success of films including The Fallout and My Old Ass. Her first television series, Sterling Point, has become a leading young-adult title on Prime Video, reflecting her aim to create ambitious work for younger viewers without patronising them.
Park created, directed all eight episodes and co-showran Sterling Point, which launched on 5 August and reached number one on Amazon Prime. She is also preparing her third feature, Apple romantic comedy Die Alive, starring Zoë Kravitz and produced by LuckyChap Entertainment, with filming due to begin in New York later this year; the project marks a move beyond the YA-focused work she has become known for.
