Tejano and Música Mexicana group Intocable has received six RIAA Latin Diamond certifications, more than any other band in the programme's history, days after being honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The recognition underscores the Texas-based act's enduring popularity and commercial success across decades, with the band now trailing only Bad Bunny for the most Latin Diamond certifications overall.

The RIAA's Premios de Oro y Platino Latin Program, established in 2001, certifies Spanish-language albums and singles based on combined sales and streaming units, with Diamond status requiring 600,000 units. Formed in Zapata, Texas, in the early 1990s, Intocable has sold an estimated 55 million albums and notched 15 number ones on Billboard's Top Regional Mexican Albums chart and 21 on Regional Mexican Airplay. The band, currently on its Cultura Tour 2026 across 24 cities in the US, Canada and Mexico, recently signed a catalogue and name/image rights deal with Primary Wave Music, while member Ricky Muñoz also scored his first number one as a co-producer with Grupo Frontera's "Ojitos Bellos".
