Investigation launched after Morgan Wallen fan allegedly pissed on family of four at Baltimore gig

NME · 6 hours ago

An investigation has been launched after a man allegedly urinated on a family of four during Morgan Wallen's concert at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore on 18 July. Fan Troy Grevelding says he was watching the show with his wife, brother and eight-year-old niece when a man seated behind them, who appeared intoxicated and had reportedly been disruptive earlier in the evening, began urinating, hitting Grevelding and his family before they realised the man had exposed himself. The family confronted the individual before leaving the concert and reporting the incident to security.

According to TMZ, officers initially told Grevelding they could not immediately arrest the alleged offender as they had not witnessed the act themselves, but the Maryland Transportation Authority Police has since confirmed an "active and open criminal investigation" is under way. The incident adds to a run of unsavoury concert-crowd stories this summer, including a fan reportedly defecating in their seat at a Noah Kahan show and Olivia Rodrigo commenting on fans wearing nappies to secure front-row spots. Wallen's "Still The Problem" tour, supporting his album "I'm The Problem", has also seen other controversies, including the singer throwing a security guard's phone during a show and flipping over a piano after technical issues.
