Apple will release iOS 27 on Monday 14 September, with the update's headline feature being Siri AI, the long-delayed, AI-powered overhaul of its voice assistant. Siri AI will initially only support English, with French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish due to follow in October. iOS 27 also brings a Liquid Glass opacity slider to toggle between a clearer or more frosted interface, redesigned icons for several built-in apps with subtle colour changes, extra-large widgets, a smaller Lock Screen clock option, and separate volume controls for ringtones, alarms, timers and system alerts.
