iPhone Duo orders are already delayed into 2027

The Verge ·

Online delivery estimates for Apple’s first foldable iPhone, the iPhone Duo, moved into January 2027 less than an hour after preorders opened. The delay suggests demand may be strong or supply limited, and could mean buyers who order online will wait months to receive the device.

Apple opened preorders at 8am ET on Friday and listed late January delivery dates for every configuration. The phone is due in stores on 23 October, and Apple may reserve some stock for shop sales, so customers might find one sooner in person. The Duo starts at $1,999 for 256GB and comes in star white or night sky.
