The Duskbloods is not purely a PvP game, although multiplayer competition is a central part of its design. Players can compete against one another while also facing computer-controlled enemies and objectives, making it a PvPvE experience rather than a conventional single-player action game.

The game supports up to eight players in online matches, with each participant pursuing their own goals while deciding whether to fight, cooperate or avoid others. It is being developed by FromSoftware for Nintendo Switch 2, and its multiplayer focus distinguishes it from the studio’s recent Souls-style releases.
