It could be you: Lottery bosses hunt missing millionaire as clock ticks down to claim deadline

Daily Mail ·

National Lottery officials are trying to find the holder of a ticket worth £1 million, bought in Tameside, Greater Manchester. The winner must claim the prize by midnight on 28 December or lose the opportunity to collect it.

The winning numbers were 5, 8, 26, 33, 39 and 42, with 54 as the Bonus Ball. Players have 180 days from the draw to claim prizes; unclaimed money goes to the National Lottery’s Good Causes fund. Earlier this year, a £10.6 million prize went unclaimed after its holder missed the deadline.

In short

  • A £1 million Tameside prize has not been claimed.
  • The deadline is midnight on 28 December.
  • Unclaimed prizes go to the National Lottery’s Good Causes fund.
