Microsoft has begun rolling out a Windows 11 update that may make the operating system feel more responsive, particularly on older or less powerful PCs. The Low Latency Profile briefly raises CPU performance for priority tasks, so elements such as app launches, the Start menu and search can respond more quickly.

The feature arrives through cumulative update KB5094126, previously available to Windows 11 beta testers, and runs automatically after installation and a restart. It is being released gradually by region, and the reported gains are likely to be modest or imperceptible on high-end gaming PCs.
