Netflix's animated musical KPop Demon Hunters has fallen out of the platform's official Top 10 English Movie chart after a record-breaking run, marking the end of an era for the streamer's biggest film. The Sony Pictures Animation production, released as a Netflix exclusive, had become a cultural phenomenon, winning Academy Awards for Best Original Song and Best Animated Feature and becoming the first Netflix film to spend a full year inside the Top 10 charts.

The film enjoyed a 63-week streak in the Top 10 before dropping out, finishing its run in eighth place, sandwiched between 13 Minutes and Shrek. Its success has already secured a sequel, which is scheduled for release in 2029, alongside earlier reports of a potential world tour tied to the franchise.
