It’s the End of an Era for Netflix’s ‘Bosch’ Replacement

Collider · 2 months ago

Netflix's legal drama "The Lincoln Lawyer" has wrapped filming on its fifth and final season, marking the end of the road for the popular series often described as filling the gap left by "Bosch". The show, which follows defence attorney Mickey Haller (played by Manuel Garcia-Rulfo), was confirmed for a final season back in January but has yet to receive a premiere date, meaning fans face a further wait before they can see how the story concludes.

Season 5 has been in production since 2 March 2026, with filming across Los Angeles and the surrounding area concluding in mid-July, according to reports from What's on Netflix and TMZ. The 10-episode run draws on Michael Connelly's novel "Resurrection Walk" and follows a Season 4 finale that introduced Mickey's previously unknown half-sister, Emi, played by Cobie Smulders. Cast and crew, including showrunners Dailyn Rodriguez and Ted Humphrey, Garcia-Rulfo, and cinematographer Dominic Bartolone, have marked the wrap on social media, with new faces, including an actor from "Bosch", also joining the cast.
