“It’s the perfect way to close such a significant chapter in the band’s history.” Ghost to release tour film titled 2 Big to Rig in cinemas this August
The metal band Ghost will premiere a theatrical concert film starting August 26, with worldwide screenings and IMAX presentations available for a short period. Titled '2 Big to Rig' and directed by Amir Chamdin, the documentary captures the group performing across two consecutive sold-out nights at Mexico City's Palacio de los Deportes, filmed on 16mm.
The film's release coincides with a significant transition for the band. Ghost concluded their touring commitment supporting the album Skeletá in February, after which frontman Tobias Forge announced plans to step back from live performance schedules. Forge stated the pause would allow him to prioritise family relationships and pursue new creative directions outside his primary project.
