Ramsey first appeared as Lyanna Mormont in Game of Thrones, a part reportedly intended for one scene that lasted three series. Their subsequent work includes Catherine Called Birdy and the prison drama Time, but The Last of Us made them globally recognisable as Ellie opposite Pedro Pascal; the role brought nominations including two Emmys, two Golden Globes, two Critics Choice awards, an Actor award and a Bafta.
