J.Crew’s ’80s Rollneck Gets a New-Gen Remix, Courtesy of Emma Chamberlain
J.Crew has launched a smaller, more fitted version of its 1988 Rollneck sweater, fronted by Emma Chamberlain. The Tiny Rollneck campaign aims to refresh a longstanding autumn staple for younger shoppers by retaining its recognisable construction while updating its proportions and colours.
The collection launched on 26 August and features heavyweight cotton, a rolled neckline and raglan sleeves, with cropped fits and brighter graphic shades. It follows J.Crew’s recent Rollneck campaigns involving actors, musicians and five independent designers, while Chamberlain appears in retro, early-2000s-inspired campaign imagery.
