New Zealand-based sales company Black Mandala has acquired worldwide sales rights to three horror films from Anatomica Films, all written and directed by J. M. Stelly and produced with Johnny Stassi. The deal, negotiated between Stelly and Black Mandala co-founder Michael Kraetzer, marks a step in bringing the independent horror label's work to international festivals, platforms and buyers, with the companies describing the collaboration as the start of a longer-term partnership.

The three titles are "Within Madness," a true-crime-inspired story following the arrest of a filmmaker and collaborator linked to years of documented violence; "Vessel," about a pastor whose faith unravels after his pregnant wife's disappearance reveals a malevolent presence; and "The Thirteenth Gate," a POV-driven psychological horror film in which an investigator searching for his missing wife is trapped in a shifting, memory-warped labyrinth tied to an occult ritual. "Within Madness" will debut to buyers first at the Toronto Film Festival market, with all three subsequently pitched at AFM; recurring cast members across the films include Keegan Macy and Jamie Nipe.
