Jack Champion, Owen Patrick Joyner, Grace Van Dien and Georgie Murphy will lead the YA romance film *The One Before The One*, following a change to its original cast. The project explores the pull of idealised memories and the choices that shape relationships, as its central character gets a chance to revisit his past.
Champion plays Steven, a Wall Street analyst who returns to his hometown for his 20th high school reunion and is transported back to his senior year. He tries to change the future for his lost love Beth, his friend Brian and songwriter Katie, while reconsidering whether the life he wanted is the one he left behind. Written and directed by Brittany Sarkisian, the film wrapped production in Austin last month and is set amid late-1990s nostalgia and Y2K fears.
