Jack White has released his seventh studio album, Frozen Charlotte, via his own Third Man Records, marking a return to rock 'n' roll for the Detroit musician who has also become known as a record label chief, business owner and vocal critic of the Trump administration. The 13-track record arrived at midnight on digital platforms and was unveiled through a free, two-part online series called Third Man Release Lab, offering fans a look at the label's release process.

The album was produced and mixed by White himself at his Third Man Studio in Nashville, featuring longtime collaborators including Patrick Keeler on drums, Dominic Davis on bass and Bobby Emmett on keys. It includes the new single "Neighbors Blues", the earlier "Dollar Bill", and "G.O.D. and the Broken Ribs" and "Derecho Demonico", both performed on Saturday Night Live earlier this year. The follow-up to White's Grammy-nominated 2024 LP No Name, it is available in physical formats including CD, cassette and several limited-edition coloured vinyl variants. White is supporting the release with a North American tour beginning on 10 July at Washington, DC's The Anthem, followed by dates across the UK, Europe and Asia, including two-night stands in London and Dublin.

Jack White is a musician and producer best known as one half of the White Stripes, who later built a solo career alongside running his own independent label, Third Man Records, from a base in Nashville. He has also become a public figure beyond music, running various Third Man-branded businesses and speaking out on political issues, including criticism of the current US administration. Frozen Charlotte is his seventh solo studio album.

The record follows No Name, his 2024 release that earned a Grammy nomination, and was made with a small group of regular collaborators who have played with him for years. Third Man Records handled every stage of the rollout itself, from production to distribution in various physical formats, reflecting White's longstanding preference for controlling his own releases outside major label systems.

The album's arrival matters both as new music from a prominent rock artist and as a marker of his current creative direction, alongside a wider tour taking in North America, the UK, Europe and Asia in the months ahead.
