Jack White brought Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson on stage during a Chicago concert for a surprise cover of Free’s “I’m a Mover”. The collaboration stood out because White rarely features guest performers, while also reflecting his tour’s tendency to include lesser-known blues and rock songs.

Robinson sang lead on the 1969 track from Free’s debut album, *Tons of Sobs*, while White played guitar. The appearance took place at Radius in Chicago on Thursday night, during White’s North American tour supporting his latest album, *Frozen Charlotte*, which continues until November.
