Jack White's Third Man Records label has announced a run of pop-up stores across the UK and Ireland, taking over five independent record shops between 28 August and 20 September. The tour will offer exclusive vinyl, limited edition merchandise, posters, books and a series of homemade "bootleg" records tied to the artwork of White's new album 'Frozen Charlotte', with stock available on a first-come, first-served basis. The pop-ups largely coincide with dates on White's accompanying UK and Ireland tour, tying the retail events directly into his live schedule.

The stores involved are Friendly Records in Bristol (28 August), Beatdown Records in Newcastle (29 August), Hectic Records in Belfast (31 August), Tower Records in Dublin (1-2 September) and Monorail Music in Glasgow (18-20 September). White's tour kicks off with two nights at London's Eventim Apollo on 25 and 26 August before dates in Bristol, Newcastle, Belfast and two nights in Dublin, followed by North American shows in autumn. Third Man Records was founded by White in Detroit in 2001 and now also has bases in Nashville and London, having previously run similar pop-ups in Paris, Liverpool and Brighton.
