Canadian electronic musician Jacques Greene has announced a new album, jg, out on 16 October via LuckyMe, alongside a new single called "Presence." The release marks his first solo full-length in some time following last year's collaborative record with Nosaj Thing as Verses GT, and Greene describes it as a more direct and intense body of work after stripping back the filters and reverbs that characterised his earlier releases.

The 11-track album features guest appearances from crushed, CFCF, Jonah Yano, SEES00000, Ouri, umru, DJ Boring, SAM-E and Sølv. "Presence" follows two previously shared tracks, "What You Say" featuring umru and "Closer" with DJ Boring, both of which appear on the tracklist. Greene has said the record feels more firmly rooted in club culture than his previous "impressionist" work, and it is now available for pre-order.
