Jaime Pressly Defends ‘Mom’ Co-Stars As “Beautifully Flawed” After Chuck Lorre Memoir: “Incredible Cast Of Women”
Jaime Pressly has praised her former *Mom* co-stars after co-creator Chuck Lorre’s memoir revisited his doubts about casting Anna Faris. Pressly described the women as an “incredible cast” and said she enjoyed working with them, adding that they were “beautifully flawed” like their characters.
Pressly played Jill Kendall from the sitcom’s second season through its eight-season run. Faris starred for the first seven seasons as Christy before leaving in 2020; Allison Janney then led the final season, which ended in 2021. Lorre wrote that his initial reluctance to hire Faris proved correct, while Faris said his remarks hurt but that she remained grateful for the job and was now healthy and sober.
