James Beard Award-winning chef, restaurateur and author Kwame Onwuachi has signed with the talent agency CAA. The move matters because it signals the growing crossover of celebrity chefs into wider entertainment, branding and media ventures, with CAA already securing him high-profile partnerships across food, travel and luxury sectors.

Through CAA, Onwuachi has joined American Express and Resy's Culinary Collective, featuring his recipes in Centurion Lounges worldwide, and become a Lexus Culinary Master. A former "Top Chef" contestant trained at the Culinary Institute of America, he runs restaurants including Tatiana in New York, Dōgon in Washington and the newly opened Maroon in Las Vegas. His forthcoming cookbook "All Hours" arrives on 22 September, while his memoir "Notes from a Young Black Chef" is being adapted into a film. He will continue to be represented by Ginsburg Daniels Kallis LLP and Carma Connected.
