James Marriott Shares Gooey-Eyed New Track ‘Lovestruck’

James Marriott has released ‘Lovestruck’, a new track from his upcoming album ‘Warning Signs’. The song explores the moment someone decides to express their feelings for a person who is already in a relationship, set to a quietly danceable modern pop-rock arrangement.

Marriott said he first wrote the song a few years ago as a heavier electronic track, then revisited it after listening to the Smashing Pumpkins’ ‘1979’. He described its lyrics as moving from the confidence of meeting someone to the complication of discovering they have a partner. ‘Warning Signs’ is due on 15 January 2027 via AWAL, and Marriott has added dates to an international tour running from February to May 2027.
