Jana Kramer says Los Angeles priced her out of the childhood she wanted for her kids

Fox News ·

Jana Kramer says unaffordable housing in Los Angeles made it difficult to give her children the spacious home and neighbourhood childhood she wanted for them. She has moved to Tennessee, where she feels calmer and enjoys seeing her children spend time outdoors and visit friends, much as she did growing up in Michigan.

Kramer said she values the freedom and community she remembers from her own childhood, while acknowledging that Los Angeles suits many families. She shares two children with ex-husband Mike Caussin and has a son with husband Allan Russell. The interview also covered her film “The One”, about a young person facing homelessness after leaving the foster care system; it is due in cinemas on 5 November.
