Actors Jane Krakowski and Angourie Rice have finished filming "Nice Eggs" in New Jersey, an independent coming-of-age drama marking director Amanda Lipitz's narrative feature debut. The film follows a young woman who comes of age while navigating a turbulent relationship with her erratic mother, striving to break a generational cycle of broken relationships and find her own voice. It is notable as Lipitz's transition into scripted feature filmmaking after building a reputation in documentaries.

Written by Sandi Farkas, the film stars Rice as Cori Mulligan, a small-town teenager with writing ambitions who feels misunderstood, and Krakowski as her mother Ellen, a once-aspiring star undone by personal struggles. Henry Tisch and Lipitz are producing for Key to the City Productions alongside Diane Nabatoff, Tory Metzger and Farkas. Krakowski, a Tony winner known for "30 Rock", and Rice, known for "The Last Thing He Told Me" and the "Mean Girls" reboot, both bring established screen and stage credentials to the project.
