A BBC documentary features 10 women making allegations of sexual misconduct against actor and Thirty Seconds to Mars frontman Jared Leto, with four of them alleging criminal sexual conduct that took place when they were teenagers. The claims, spanning 2002 to 2016 when Leto was in his 30s and 40s, add to previous misconduct allegations reported in 2015 and raise fresh questions about his conduct with young women and girls over more than a decade.

Among the accounts, a woman using the pseudonym Isabel alleges she was sexually assaulted by Leto in a Las Vegas motel bathroom aged 17, while another, Clara, says she had sex with him in California at 17 when he was 34. A woman called Etta alleges Leto made sexually explicit calls to her from age 16 and later had her sent a non-disclosure agreement she refused to sign, and a 14-year-old named Taylor says he made a sexual comment about her body and had her brought backstage. The BBC says it corroborated several accounts using messages, photographs and testimony from friends and family, and two former Thirty Seconds to Mars associates described staff discomfort at Leto's interactions with teenage girls. Leto has not responded to the BBC's requests for comment.
