Jason Statham's self-referential action-comedy "Jason Statham Stole My Bike" has added three new cast members: Eddie Peng, Daniel Ings and Artie Wilkinson-Hunt. The film, directed by David Leitch, already stars Statham as a fictionalised version of himself alongside Hannah Waddingham, in a vein similar to Nicolas Cage's "The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent" or Jean-Claude Van Damme's "JCVD". It marks another collaboration between Statham and production company Black Bear, with Leitch's 87North also involved.

The screenplay comes from Alison Flierl, working from a story she developed with Scott Chernoff, and Black Bear plans a North American release on 6 August 2027. Peng, a prominent Chinese-language film star known for "Black Dog" and "The Great Wall", joins alongside Ings, who reunites with Waddingham after "The Woman in Cabin 10" and brings credits including "The Gentlemen" and "Sex Education", and young actor Wilkinson-Hunt, whose past work spans "Masters of the Universe" and "C.B. Strike". Producers include Kelly McCormick and Leitch for 87North, Statham for Punch Palace Productions, John Friedberg for Black Bear, and Meredith Berg and Ethan Erwin for Beryllium Entertainment, with Fifth Season and Tango serving as executive producers.
