Jay-Z has added a London concert to his current run of shows celebrating 30 years in music, with the US rapper and Roc Nation confirming a date at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Scheduled for Friday 4 September, the gig will be his only UK appearance of the year and forms part of a select series of international dates marking a career that Live Nation described as having "shaped music and culture around the world".

The London show joins previously announced performances in Paris on 10 September and Los Angeles on 23 October, and comes ahead of two sold-out Yankee Stadium dates on 10 and 11 July celebrating the albums Reasonable Doubt and The Blueprint, the latter turning 25 this year. General sale for London tickets opens on the Live Nation website on 10 July. Jay-Z, a 25-time Grammy winner who has sold more than 125 million records, was also recently confirmed to be the subject of an HBO documentary due in the autumn.
