Jay-Z Brings Justin Timberlake Onstage in Paris

Variety · 2 hours ago

Jay-Z brought Justin Timberlake onstage during his Paris concert on Thursday for a rare rendition of "Holy Grail," their 2013 collaboration, along with "Until the End of Time," originally a Timberlake and Beyoncé duet. The guest appearance is the latest in a run of star-studded cameos on Jay-Z's current tour, which has also featured a mini-Fugees reunion with Lauryn Hill and Wyclef in London, and continues a particularly active year of live performances for the rapper.

The Paris shows also saw Idris Elba deliver a spoken intro and South London rapper Giggs take the stage, while Jay-Z's wife Beyoncé was spotlighted from a stadium box to mark her birthday, though she did not perform. British rapper Dave and musician Sampha appeared on the second night. The tour follows three Yankee Stadium concerts in July that featured 19 guests including Rihanna, Eminem and Alicia Keys, and continues with a Stade de France show on 10 September and two Los Angeles dates in October.
