Country singer Jelly Roll has been dropped from the Second Annual Big Blue Bash, a fundraiser for the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Foundation held at Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate, after making jokes about the president's weight and the economy while guest-hosting Jimmy Kimmel Live!. The decision, announced by event organiser Kyle S. Reyes of The Police Tribune, comes despite Jelly Roll closing his hosting stint with a conciliatory, bipartisan message about compassion and unity that made no reference to the earlier jokes.

Reyes said the invitation had been extended on 26 April, though it remains unclear whether Jelly Roll had formally accepted it, and announced country singer Coffey Anderson would take his place. This year's event carries an "American Superheroes" theme and is expected to feature Lou Ferrigno, Dean Cain and Kevin Sorbo. Reyes criticised Jelly Roll in a lengthy social media post, accusing him of "bashing President Trump and Conservatives" to seek attention, while Jelly Roll's own remarks had emphasised that "pain and healing knows no partisanship."
