Country singer Jelly Roll used his final guest-host appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” to address the reaction to recent jokes about Donald Trump and to clarify that he does not identify strongly with either political camp. He said people had previously labelled him MAGA and then, after the jokes, a “liberal snowflake”, arguing that entertainment appearances and watching a White House UFC event should not be treated as endorsements of every associated political view.

He described himself as leaning left on some issues but broadly being “down the middle”, citing his Christian faith, country-music career, farming and hunting background. Jelly Roll also reflected on declining to discuss the political climate after winning three Grammys in February 2026, saying he had feared his words would immediately be framed politically; he noted that a December 2025 pardon by Tennessee’s governor had enabled him to vote in the forthcoming midterm elections, without saying whom he would support.
