Jenna Ortega and Natalie Portman’s Twisted New Crime Comedy Officially Unleashes Its Trailer

Natalie Portman stars in *The Gallerist* as an ambitious gallery owner whose financial troubles lead her to make an appalling plan: present an accidentally dead person as the centrepiece of her debut exhibition. Jenna Ortega joins the dark comedy, directed by Cathy Yan, as the scheme draws public attention and police scrutiny.

Set at Art Basel Miami, the film explores how the gallery owner’s bid for recognition could expose her: the more successful the exhibition becomes, the more people may examine its central work. The cast also includes Sterling K. Brown, Daniel Brühl, Charli XCX, Zach Galifianakis, Da’Vine Joy Randolph and Catherine Zeta-Jones. It is due in cinemas on 4 December 2026.
