Jenna Ortega and Rose Byrne have been cast in 'Nasty,' a gymnastics drama directed by Mary Bronstein that centres on a young athlete pursuing an Olympic team position whilst contending with a demanding coach. The project reunites Byrne with Bronstein, whose previous collaboration earned Byrne an Oscar nomination.

The film is being produced by LuckyChap, the company behind 'Barbie,' alongside Ortega's production interests, with distribution handled by Clockwork, a newly established Warner Bros specialty label founded by three former executives from independent distributor Neon. Production is slated to commence this autumn.
