Jenny Daly's Studio82 and Holly A. Hines and Eric Jarboe's Happy Accidents have entered a strategic partnership to develop, finance and produce a slate of scripted young adult originals. The tie-up brings together two of the executive producers behind Netflix's Ginny & Georgia, which is currently in production on its fourth season, and reflects growing industry appetite for YA content across streamers.

Daly launched Studio82 earlier this year, having previously served as president of Critical Content and A. Smith & Co. Productions, establishing both a scripted YA division and an unscripted unit for creators and celebrities. She is already developing projects with the Neese brothers, known for Cruel Summer and The Umbrella Academy, and with Veritas Entertainment's Peter Jaysen and Alan Gasmer, producers of A Complete Unknown. Happy Accidents, meanwhile, is producing Disney+'s Gnomes starring Asa Butterfield and developing Violent Delight, a modern take on Shakespeare's characters from Asha Michelle Wilson and Tyler Hansen.
